I was hoping I might be able to catch a glimpse of the brightening comet McNaught last night before I had to head off to meet my peeps. Instead, some clouds got in the way.
This morning, on the other hand, was another sunny foggy spectacle.

…I hate to stray off the topic, however I did not feel this was appropriate to post at the Ask Father site. I would like to know your opinion on World Youth Day and if you would advise one to attend this pilgrimage? I grew up in a family that were members of a very liberal Catholic Parish, but as I got older, I started attending St. Agnes on my own. I personally prefer Orthodox to a modernized Mass, and have heard both positive and negative experiences from previous WYD’s from people who share my feelings. It takes quite a lot of effort and time in finding sponsors and I would like to know your personal thoughts on the entire matter.
