This entry comes to you from…

… The Sabine Farm!

I just flew in from Rome and… boy, are my arms tired!

Tomorrow, chores include an oil change for the car, sorting several months of mail, and a haircut before driving to St. Paul for the funeral of Msgr. Schuler.

I’ll bet that is one packed church for the funeral.

Welcome home Father Zuhlsdorf.America is better for your presence.
    God bless you.

    Dear Father,

Welcome home! I have been praying for you. Thank you for your information on the Holy Thursday Washing of the Feet Ritual.

I am truly sorry for SHOUTING AT YOU. I fell on the ice Feb. 25 and
broke my left wrist(the distal end of the radius). I still have a cast on–please offer some prayers for healing for me. I can only type with my right hand. It seemed easier to use all caps. I am sorry.

    Peter

    LAME! lol

Hmmm. You may miss the publication of the Motu proprio, but it seems that you land in the right place at the right time for the announcement of the next Archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis… not bad timing at all.

Also an interesting coincidence – just as St. Agnes gave the diocese of New Ulm her first bishop (the late and saintly Bishop Schladweiler), now New Ulm is giving the Twin Cities her next ordinary, Archbishop Nienstedt. Perhaps Monsignor Schuler is already exerting his influence in heaven?

  7. Tim: Are you saying that Nienstedt will be the next Archbishop of St. Paul/Minneapolis?

  8. Tim Ferguson says:

he’s just been announced this morning as coadjutor

  9. Okay… I made a new entry on that little drift. Thanks.

  10. peter: I did that broken wrist thing some years back. That’s not fun.
