I have been without any real internet access for days now. Only by the kindness of friends have I been able to post the last couple messages. Even now I am using the computer of my thesis director and in 15 minutes must head to the airport for my flight to the UK.

Yes, internet is a blessing if used properly, and being deprived from a good connection can be frustrating. However, sometimes, when I am pressed by time, I just unplug my internet cable, because internet access can be an innecesary distraction.
Father, consider your internet situation as a lenten penance.

What degree are you studying for that you would need a thesis director. Will we soon see Fr. John T. Zuhlsdorf, JCD or STD???
