The UK trip continues

This evening took me away from Fr. Finigan’s place down to the coast and Brighton, where Fr. Blake is pastor at St. Mary Magdalen parish.

I came in on the late side, but we dashed out to a fine Chinese restaurant for some Hong Kong style steamed sea bass with ginger and scallions.  It was a wonderful light supper that hit the spot.

It is raining and windy now.

Dear Fr Z…..while you are in Brighton ask Fr Blake to direct you to St Hugh’s Charterhouse. You wont get Chinese food but the Boys make some real Kickin’ Cider. Tell them Wayne sent you, we go back a ways, I’m sure they will have a spare Flagon or twain…..Fr Finnegan’s beer is ….well not in the same league really…!!!!

  7. Dear Father Z,
