Well, that took forever, so I’d say “no.”
Seems faster, yes!
It sure is for me!
Seems faster to me – certainly in the “acceptable” range.
Now it’s much faster.
According to Alexa.com:
Speed: Slow (78% of sites are faster), Avg Load Time: 4.1 Seconds
I think 4.1 is reasonable and that is from before today – so if you monitor that you should get a fair indication of whether speed is improving.

No appreciable difference observed.
Commenting is slow still, but I like that. It makes me think what I’m writing on your blog (but you wouldn’t tell would you; I always put my foot in my mouth! ;-p ).
Jamie: Thanks for that. I believe a new theme would speed things up.
Page loads seem to be the same for me, but they have always been fast.
If it takes as long as usual for the comment to post, then I will not post a second message. If the message posting time decreases significantly, then I will post again accordingly.
Here’s hoping that it doesn’t take minutes – yes, minutes – to post messages.
