Pray for a Bishop-Elect of a very difficult place

Please remember in your kindness to pray for a friend of mine, Fr. Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala who has been appointed Bishop–Elect of Tombura-Yambio in Sudan.

I know Fr. Kussala in Rome.

    Wow, I pray that there are still good Catholic Sudanese in Sudan. We have some refugees from Sudan in our diocese and they are very amazing men. I will pray for the bishop-elect. That is certainly a difficult position.

    I will pray for Fr. Kussala today. His predecessor was allowed to stay on until he’d passed his eightieth birthday, which is rare for any prelate who is not a patriarch or cardinal. This points to the problems in that Diocese and throughout the Sudan.
