Very cool

This is very cool….

I have found that I can have more than one stream ready to stream and then toggle back and forth between them!

I have a stream running on an antiquated ‘puter in the chapel and one on the big box in my front room.  I could feasibly have any number going on different computers.  By remotely logging into the different boxes I can change the settings, etc.

This could be useful for an audio/video show.  Say, for example, I have a friend somewhere else in the world… I could… hmmm…

This is very very cool.

If I leave these running while I am gone, I could set up yet another on the laptop I travel with.

hmmm… I wonder if I could do this with network cams, instead of webcams with computers. hmmm…

Today God has come and He has given you new means to serve Him :)

    Fr. Z:

I get a strange thing in IE (not Firefox with the “awesome” bar): when I type in the link to the Zcam at wdtprs.com/blog/zcam or /zcam/, I get a strange message in Cyrillic: ??????????, ?? ???? ???????, ????? ?? ????????? ?? ?????? ????????! It doesn’t happen to me when I use Firefox. Also, I noticed that when I entered it as a search term, a lot of web sites came up with it… weird.

The correct link is: http://www.wdtprs.com/zcam/ (omit “/blog/”).

A Merry and blessed Christmas Father Z!

My favorite Christmas story is the cease fire and exchange of gifts between the soldiers in the trenches during WWI.

Peace on Earth and the Internet too!

I enjoy your blog very much. Thank you for educating me on the liturgy and other things Catholic.
