I sense a plot that goes straight back to South Carolina and Father Longenecker LOL

  2. joe says:

Semi-seriously, I was thinking Ol’ Scratch was up to his usual, myself.

  3. TJB says:

It seems to be working now, though slowly. The Weblog awards Twitter says “Sorry about the load times today. We’re working on making things faster.”

  4. Joe says:

short of a recount in Minnesota, it is looking pretty good!

  5. Joe says:

Father! is that really you in a rock band??? o tempora! o mores! o http://gkupsidedown.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-praise-group-at-st-marys.html Ipromise I won’t change my vote, if you promise not to sell it to GIA or OCP.

  6. Dwight Longenecker says:

I told you to expect the unexpected in the final hours…

  7. John Enright says:

The comment at the bottom of the poll says that refreshing your page after voting makes the vote look like it disappeared. It really hasn’t done so; its already recored in the database. The tally doesn’t refresh in your browser to reduce server load.

  8. Fr. L: What happened to your votes!?

  9. Jeff M says:

The Weblog Awards server was crushed by the onslaught of traditionalist Catholics voting for Fr. Z…

  10. Phil (NL) says:

Anyway, it works fine again, and wdtprs is still over 2k votes in front of the nearest competitor.

  11. Dwight Longenecker says:

at the last moment, when the soldiers in my army faced the terrible armies of Fr Z they turned and ran–the cowards…who knows, they may even have voted for Happy Catholic!

  12. puella says:

I just managed to vote after getting funny jickers for a couple of days. Voting closes in a couple of hours!

  13. Dwight Longenecker says:

    o{:-(

  14. Phil (NL) says:

    Voting has closed, congratulations Father!

Yet another outstanding showing, more than double the amount of the number 2. Catholic blogs account for more than 60% of the total votes, so also in that respect it’s a succes. Grats!
