It reflects another cliche, too. We buy flatscreen monitors for ourselves at home, while our employers provide us with “state-of-the-art”* CRT monitors.

Yeah! But at work I am staring at Excel spreadsheets, Metafile reports and other work stuff.
At home I am looking at Fr.Z and other good sites! It is entirely different!!
I teach all day and do not have time to be on the Net at work most days. Computer work is mostly for my research and entertainment, as well as for all the wonderful things I learn on this FABULOUS blog. Is this chicken crossing the road, by the way?
