Well,we knew before didn’t we? When Tigh was going swimming off what we think was New York City… I’m still not going with it. Or her. Or whatever. I do think the episode that just ended was really good.

This episode tonight (and the one preceding) was fantastic. I almost thought it was going to be a three parter – the good guys took control of the ship a little faster than I thought. But still, it was great.

When Zarek had the Quorum assassinated… damn. That was heavy. No more pesky legislature to get in the way of Roslin/ Adama, I suppose.

I think Cavil and his gang will be showing up soon.

  3. DavidJ says:

I’ll be very surprised if Ellen doesn’t join up with Cavil’s group.

Also, I sympathize greatly with Gaeda. He stood up for his convictions nearly every point of the way and ended up worse for it. Heck, he was even right in the election debacle. He still ended up getting the short end of the stick every time and causing harm.

    At least the itching stopped.

  4. Rachel says:

Oh, thank goodness Father. I thought you were talking about yet another scandal!

    What’s LEWIS N SHORT?

  5. Denis says:

I still don’t think she is the final Cylon, but rather the very first Six.

  6. Paul says:

Fantastic episode – I sympathize with Gaeta (and almost with Zarek, who I think nearly realized his folly right before he had the Quorom murdered; if he hadn’t done that, he might not have damned himself nearly as much).

Cool as this two parter was, I am glad they’re returning to the bigger picture next week from the look of things. So many unanswered questions, and the preview adds another one – where is Ellen waking up? Can’t wait to see how they explain the long gap between the nuking of Earth and the ‘invention’ of Cylons in the Colonies.

  7. PaulJason says:

I have to say again Adama is the dying leader. Did you notice Roslen holding him up as they walked away? Earth has yet to found, and the dying leader will lead them to it.

  8. Templar says:

I also think we already knew who the 5th and final was, the coming attractions at the end simply removed the doubt from those among us who were holding out for a plot twist.

I have no sympathy for Gaeta at all. He was a traitor. The ends never justify the means. Zarek always was slime, from beginning to end. In some ways I have more respect for him than Gaeta because he had no delusions about what he was, and what he was doing.

I do suspect the theory that the “huamn” race’s homeworld has yet to be found has the potential to be right, and that the “earth” they found was the cylon home world and not the “earth” as we know it. In other words, we’ve been watching the whole series naturally identifying with the Colonials, when in reality, “we” the viewers are really the cylons.

  9. Templar says:

And Rachel, Lewis n Short is a Latin Dictionary, Father Z’s recommended preference for such tools I believe.

  10. PaulJason says:

Are there any more orginal BSG actors left on this series or was Zarek (Richard Hatch, Apollo on the orginal BSG)the last?

  11. Jenny Z says:

Just got around to watching last night’s episode… heavy. I find myself crying more at every episode. (yeah, I’m over emotional, I have a habit of getting way too into the story, but I love it)

I really have no idea what to expect at this point. I just hope it’s good.
