Yesterday, today and tomorrow… well … sort of…
Be sure to check out Savage Chickens.
“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

Yes, but which day should take the accent???
Sorry, Father, but I still don’t get this. Am I dense?
Thanks to A series of unfortunate events, I lol’d hysterically
It’s great to have some humor. In todays world, we are so much in need of it.
Great humor. Are we not tired of all the superficially happy and motivational posters seen everywhere in the ’80s and ’90s? Love the chickens.
Here is a cure for those motivational posters:

I have 2 questions about this post.
My penultimate question is: regarding the second panel of the cartoon, isn’t today (as opposed ot yesterday) the last day of your life so far?
My ultimate question is: which is the proper spelling, antipenultimate or antepenultimate?
[These are both meant as rhetorical questions] :-)
Tim, I believe it’s spelled “antepenultimate” :) This cartoon made me very happy.
I have studied my “penultimates” and “antepenultimates”, which is why I know that it is spelled with an “e” and not an “i”. If you mean “before” (as here) it’s “ante”; if you mean “opposite” it’s “anti”.

I LOVE this. Cliches are like grande facades in front of straw huts.
John: Yes.
Thanks for the post Art, I am still laughing
Funny cartoon, thanks for posting!
