Congratulations and thanks for all that you do.
Congratulations and thank you Father. Your blog has been very helpful to my journey of faith.
Out of curiosity – does this count the number of visits to WDTPRS, or does it count unique visitors?
In addition to Cathy’s question………
-Is the figure for page hits or hits for the entire site?
-Does it could spiders and bots?
-If it is a counter of unique IP addresses, then what is it unique to? i.e. unique for the hour, day, week etc?
‘hits’ can be a misleading and extremely vague term according to smart people who understand this stuff.
But congratulations nonetheless. You are obviously doing something right. [This is not "hits", this is visits. This is not page views.]
I enjoy this blog and have learned much, though it is a drop in the bucket
compared to what I don’t know. It is wonderful that such a resource exists
and I think anyone who is able should support your efforts in whatever way
they can. However, I have always had the impression that I’m more of an
intruder than a welcome guest, so I’ve decided that I will continue to visit
and support this blog without commenting. As a revered American author once
said, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak and
remove all doubt.
God Bless you and good luck
15:08 — the count is 7,000,031. Congrats!
Congrats Fr. Z!
Only in three years! Awesome!
Congratulations and thank you Father. We read your blog also in Poland.
For the first time I am happy to be a statistic.
Quite definitely over one view per living person during that time period… congratulations Fr. Z!
Girgadis–
I feel the same way..
Especially distressing is the ongoing impression (from the com box–not Fr. Z.) that I as a convert am not “Catholic” enough.. even though I am a Secular Carmelite. Funny how my anti-spam word is “identity.” Plus the priest– and bishop–bashing is especially distressing..I will refrain from viewing the combox.
May God richly Bless you Father Z..I remember you daily in my Office. [Thanks you sincerely.] I’m sure you have a special place in the bosom of St Francis.
Will you do a Jerry Lewis and start crying when the tote board turns over 7,000,000?
Fr Z, thank you for everything you do. Your blog helps me immensely as it is an island of sanity in a very weird world. All the people who come here are great too, and good company during my internet time. Thanks all of you and God bless you all.
I know I did my part. I sent out a mass email to all my friends with this blog on it and recommended that they come here to get the truth about all the media spin on the Holy Father.
Fr. Z., we are blessed to have you as our virtual pastor.
Very impressive.
Is it more lucky to be the 7th visitor or the 7 millionth?
Seven MILLION visitors! Wow-that’s cool!
Thank you for all you do, Fr. Z!
Fr. Zuhlsdorf – Thank you for all you do on this blog. I post rarely but find your commentary and the information from others very helpful.
