  3. Mary Ann, Singing Mum says:

    Well, Fr. Z, congrats!
I’ve loved your blog for a few years now, been edified by the translations, bird pics, etc. I am usually wary of putting too much stock in my own opinion. But after checking out the ranking of ‘wdtprs’, apparently I am not alone in thinking- you da bomb. Happy year of the Priest, and may God continue to bless your work.

  4. Stephen says:

Congratulations Father! Quite a showing, sweeping many of the categories.

  5. Galactic Catholic says:

It is hard not to vote for you when your blog really is great to read! Congratulations!

  6. Boniface says:

Wow, congrats on all the categories. I think the only one yoiu are missing is “Best Blog By a Priest Living in Italy Whose Last Name Starts With ‘Z’.”

    LOL

  7. Denise says:

Congratulations Fr. Z! Its nice to see the joy and edification many obtain from reading your blog and listening to your podasts recognized in a public forum. You are a blessing to many, Father.
    Thank you.

  8. Ann says:

My two favorite blogs were at the top in a LOT of categories but I was surprised when my other favorite sometimes was higher than this favorite!!

Congratulations Fr. Z. Your work here certainly deserves the recognition!

  9. Nana says:

    That’s because Zadok won that one…. ;)

  14. Gloria says:

Hurrah! Hooray! Huzzah! Ole! Evax! and all the other congratulatory interjections!

  15. Kaneohe says:

Wonderful news! That is an impressive listing – you got 17 first places in 23 applicable categories. Congratulations Father Z!

Blow up some fireworks tonight! Or at least “pop a cork!”

  16. Kaneohe: Thanks…. I should have obtained a bottle of “the Widow” and coordinated this with observance of the 4th of July and the anniversary of Summorum Pontificum.

  17. Dominican says:

You’re a religious? (Best blog by a religious) Do fill us in!

Congrats on the other categories! Well deserved!

  18. To be clear: I do not belong to a religious order. I am not a religious.

However, I am not sure that everyone knows precisely what “religious” means. I suspect that a lot of people thought that all priests are religious because they are priests.

Anyway, I wasn’t the one who set up the awards.

  19. Martin says:

Congratulations Fr on your blog awards. God bless you.

  20. irishgirl says:

Congrats on your awards, Fr. Z!

    That’s quite a long list!

Huzzah! And happy Year of the Priest to you!
