Some of the places where you are…

CATEGORY: Just Too Cool — Fr. John Zuhlsdorf @ 12:37 am

I am always amazed at the variety of places around the world where people are as they come to visit the blog.

Don’t feel bad if you don’t see your exact location, or even near miss.  This is just a snapshot.

We know that often these place names are approximations, and I eliminated the "unknowns" and vague locations such as "Canada".

    1. :) Father, you still mentioned one ‘unknown’ and I pity your Canadian readers as you dissalow their country to be named, yet you include Germany (even twice).

    2. Sure glad you noticed that detail. Just an oversight.

    5. Frank – Canada gets plenty of recognition. I see a handful of cities in Alberta, Ontario, BC. I believe Fr. was referring to entries which just say “Canada”.

    6. Imagine if it said ” Vatican City, apostolic palace”
or ” White House, Oval Office”
      lol
But I can certainly say , Wellington

    7. I can’t help but wonder if my address comes up as “Canada” all the time. I visit rather frequently and have never seen either of the two places I have recently lived listed. Prince Edward Island representing. Speaking of Canada, does any body know anything about our new bishop coming from Toronto?

    8. I was wondering if there are any Masses in the Extraordinary Form, in Edmonton. My wife and I are more than likely moving out that way, next year, and were wondering if there was a parish or a regular Sunday Mass that is celebrated in this manner.

      Thanks

I have a friend who is a nun at Jouques, which is in the same department. Some years ago I was there for her solemn profession.

    16. Fr., I notice California often makes your list. We suffer greatly from various liturgical abuses throughout the state. In many parts of the state, catholicism is very strong. Thank you for all that you do. Your blog gives a boost daily to many suffering California catholics.
