I do enjoy good Chinese food when I can get it.
Lunch brings some juicy Shanghai style buns.
And pan fried noodles.

“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

Do you deliver? We have at least one excellent Chinese restaurant here in Silicon Valley … but your fare looks simply “heavenly”!!

Avec L’Opera Chinois, I would hope.
mmmmmmm … makes me hungry!
It’s 8pm here, better go and get some dinner ready :)
I was doing OK on my diet until I saw these photos. (Had to give up running
and riding because of an injury). Looks as good as anything I’ve seen here
in Chinatown. Hope you enjoyed it Father!
Oh rejoice ye taste buds!
I also love “Xiao Long Bao.” Sadly they I have not been able to find them at my local dimsum restaurants.
It is most difficult to read things such as this. We have no such fine comestibles here in the Piedmont of North Carolina. You can’t find a steamed or baked bao. Forget steam cabinets and dim sum.
We have some fairly decent Japanese restaurants, but I miss the great diversity of Chinese fare available in the North.
Good eating!!!
