I found this on Patrick Madrid‘s site:

“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

That sounds like a pretty happy circumstance to me for sure!
Tweet! A noble goal!
Reminds me of trying to eat outside an In-n-Out burger joint. The starlings were ready to pounce on any fry or bun part tossed their way. Fearless little critters.
“Today I will be happier than a newly ordained and very traditional priest from the diocese of Providence (RI) with a large plate of French Fries!”
“With choc chip cookies to follow, of course!”
Random Friar-your post reminds me of eating at a local family-owned drive-in. No starlings, but the sparrows were just as ravenous when it came to ‘scraps’.
Love the poster, Fr. Z….and Patrick!
