Following TEAM RUBICON in Haiti

Team Rubicon is a self-financed and self-deployed group of former Marines, soldiers firefighters, Jesuits, health care professionals currently providing emergency relief in Haiti.  They provide their own security and deal with whatever they find.

UPDATE 28 Jan:

St. Ignatius’ Prayer for Generosity

Br. Jim Boynton SJ leads the team every morning and evening in prayer

Lord, teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
to give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds,
to toil and not to seek for rest,
to labor and not to ask for reward,
save that of knowing that I do your will.

Take a look also at the report of a new novice who has arrived.

Also, Br. Boynton tends to toss wild rabbits into the tents of the late-sleeping team members.
