  49. Kaneohe says:

A very happy and blessed anniversary Fr. Z.! My prayer for you this day:

O Jesus, Eternal High Priest, live in Father John Zuhlsdorf, act in him,
speak in and through him so he may exalt you in the midst of your people; offer spiritual Sacrifice acceptable to you; boldly proclaim the gospel of salvation, and rightly administer the sacraments of the New Covenant.

May he think Your thoughts in his mind, show your love through
his heart and so be a faithful pastor, a patient teacher, and a wise counselor.

Give him Your Own dispositions and feelings. Teach, lead and
guide him always. Correct, enlighten and expand his thoughts
and behavior so he may ever serve you without reproach, and
that we your people may be strengthened and your Name glorified
    in the entire world.

Enable him to give himself entirely to You. Possess his heart, soul
and life. Replace him with Yourself. Incline him to constant adoration and thanksgiving; pray in and through him. Let him live in You and
keep him in this intimate union always.

O Mary, Mother of Jesus and Mother of priests, pray and intercede for our dear brother and priest, Father Zuhlsdorf.

Congratulations as you celebrate your 19th Anniversary of ordination. There are so many of us who are celebrating within these weeks and others who are being ordained. Let us give thanks to the Lord for the priesthood! How blest are we who have been called. I could not imagine doing anything else! We will also conclude the Year For Priests. I hope that all Catholics will continue to pray for us, support us and study about this awesome gift from the Lord.
