KEEP CALM and WDTPRS.COM Stuff

Some readers had sent me notes about the whimsical graphic I put together based on the famous WWII "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster.  There are zillions of variations for myriad causes floating around out there, as this wonderful design has long been in the public domain.

I had a number of requests to make a T-shirt from this and… so I your obedient servant have, together with some other swag.

Before I put something out there for anyone else, I always like to see what they are like in real life.  Therefore, I ordered a couple items and had them sent to where I am staying in NYC.

I am glad I did. I have now adjusted slightly the position of the graphic on the large white coffee mug and the beer stein.

Behold…

Here is the red shirt and a white, large coffee mug.

I haven’t washed these yet.  I am directed to wash it inside out and in cold water.  Also, there was a slip which accompanied the shirts saying that these dark T-shirts can have a slight outline around the design that disappears in the first washing, but I don’t see any outline.

Perhaps the organizer of the upcoming papal visit to England should have some of these things, just to remind him of the proper attitude and that the world is watching them.

Love the shirts. I’ll pick one up.

For those of you with daughters (or are a daughter yourself), I bought cute necklaces for my four girls on http://www.etsy.com that read “Keep Calm – and Pray Your Rosary.” They love them.

  3. I have a Latin version coming.
