Prayer requests

First, I would appreciate some prayers for myself.  I am dealing with something pretty uncomfortable right now and hope it’ll be better today, please God.

I have had a lot of requests for prayer from people by email.  Whenever I get one I do stop and say a prayer and try to remember you in praying my office as well.

However, I would also ask your prayers explicitly for a priest of the SSPX, Fr. Daniel Couture, the district superior in Asia, who is battling Dengue Fever.

And I thought my lot was tough.

For those for whom we have promised to pray, hear us O Lord.

Prayers being said for all of the above intentions, especially your family, ejcmartin. Wow. God bless you all. (p.s. whenever I read posts that either ask for prayers, or I see that people need prayers I do pray for those intentions. I just don’t want to post over and over that I’m praying for each situation and distract from the original post. Please be assured of our family’s prayers though. I wonder how many prayers happen as a result of this blog. I love being Catholic. I love the whole Communion of Saints thing. How blessed we are!)

  26. It’s Friday, and it good to offer some penance and one’s sufferings for our intentions, including those of reparation for sins.

Especially sins against the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

  27. Mitchell NY says:

I said a prayer for both for the lifting of the pains that inflict the mind and body with suffering. Allow the prayers of some simple lay folk to lift you up as high as incense can travel. Until, just like incense, whatever is weighing you down, dissapates.

  28. jmgarciajr says:

Will offer up my Chaplet of Divine Mercy for these intentions.

    AMDG!
