In your goodness, would you please pray for a priest friend, Fr. D, who is quite sick? Some sort of nasty bug. He mentioned that the doctor actually came to him, house call, and that a blood test showed a white count of 19k.

Fr. Z’s KINDLE Wish List
-

I will recite the glorious mysteries later for Father D.
I will offer the remaining Hours in my Divine Office today for Father D’s health.
I’ll pray for him today, especially during our parish holy hour this afternoon, which I will preside.
Of course.
Will Pray
Praying.
I will include him in my prayers today. I also ask for prayers for an old friend from my college days and his wife and sons. He suffered a massive stroke, has been in a coma for over a week, and may be undergoing surgery today.
Will pray.
Praying also…
Will do, Father Z…
Of course! Will pray for him and remember him at Mass.
Done.
Done. Also for JohnE’s friend.
Praying
We will pray for Fr. D and add him to our prayer list with candle lit.
Father we offer Fr. D to you in our prayer that you will touch his ill health. You are the healer and can fight his white count. Touch his body with your hands that bore the wounds that we are not worthy of bearing, your angels surround him as prayer from those who pray for Fr. D and God rejoices as much prayer is spoken on behalf of Fr. D.
Asking that precious Padre Pio join us in prayer and trust in Jesus as he brings Fr. D to good health so that he can carry on. Amen
Done.
I will remember him in prayer
Said an "Ave" and "Memorare" for Fr. D.
praying
For my prayer, I will send Fr. D. some chicken soup!
Added Fr. D to my prayer list!

Father Z, have you heard how Fr. D. is doing? We are praying :) Please let us know if you hear anything. Happy Feast of St. Michael!
Thanks for asking. He was on several antibiotics. Slowly but surely he is back on his feet more and more each day.
