  1. Whoa. I did not know there was a Missa Ave maris stella by Victoria. Must find a recording!!!

Mr. Mosebach is a creative writer. Poets, writers, artists sometimes understand things that others don’t. For instance, it would never even occur to a ‘modern church architect’ that the place of Catholic worship needs some darkened areas half hidden by pillars, where ‘prodigal sons’ can weep unabashed and those fallen away from Mother Church can consider coming home. Where hopeless and farouche and damaged souls can sneak in and gaze longingly at Mercy Incarnate without being bullied into fake smiles and hardy Rotarian handshakes. God bless Martin Mosebach for understanding this and explicating all this better than anyone has.

I read Mosebach’s speak to the priests of Cardinal Ranjith’s diocese.
He is a wonderful speaker, and has some very interesting thoughts.

Any chance that this talk will be recorded, or if there will be a transcript available?

    Ave Maria!
