Sounds from Sunday’s Mass at Holy Innocents (Manhattan) – Anniv. of Dedication

Sunday at Holy Innocents in Manhattan, Mass was celebrated for the Anniversary of the Dedication of the Church.

Sounds from the Mass are below.

After Mass and meeting people for coffee afterward, we dashed up to the 80′s on east side for some Hungarian food for lunch.

Sights along the way…

Ah… New York.

I had a little time so I walked over to Bryant Park, one of my favorite places in the city.

On a glorious day.

Back at church for vespers, the dedication candles were aflame.

Later, after meeting a priest friend for supper and heading back to find friends for a libation, I tuned into the game on my iPhone via Slingbox (bless its inventors).

A lovely day.

Enjoy some sounds from my lovely day.

Your chicken paprikash and drop noodles are making me homesick :). If you like Hungarian food you must try Hungarian Dobos Torte cake…if you can get your hands on some. It’s such a delicacy, but must be consumed in moderation.

What a wonderful Mass! Thank you Father, for the Podcast bits! Here in the back of beyond (Scandinavia) I’ve assisted at precicely three EF Masses in four years. A saintly FSSP priest who travels here from France celebrated. But all were low Masses, no singing!

I managed to make Mass and was so glad I did. For some reason, I did not realize that you were going to be the celebrant. Glad you were able to make it to the Big Apple!

    You live the good life!!!

I echo what GregH said-you sure do live a good life, Father Z!
