The Roman Station is St. Pancras. The custom of Roman Stations continued through the Octave of Easter. The titular cardinal is Antonio Cañizares Llovera, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship.
A hint at the thought: The newly baptized wore their white baptismal robes for an “octave” period after Easter during which they received special instruction from the bishop about the sacred mysteries and Christian life which they hadn’t been taught before the Vigil rites.

I’m just thinking of all those baby birds. After the parents stop flapping around them, they are left to their own devices: most of them get killed by cats, hawks, cars, starvation, or exposure.
Indeed, in the Church we are often left to ourselves, but we are never truly alone.
Happy Easter Father, and thank you for all your podcazts over Lent and Easter. I have listened to them all. I particularly enjoyed hearing the new Mass prayers and the musical selection.

Idle question that occurred while listening to today’s Gospel reading. When was Thomas given the power to forgive and retain sins since he was not present when Jesus bestowed those gifts on the other Apostles?
