What makes this blog worthwhile

From a reader:

Father,
Thanks for your encouraging words to get to confession. It’s hard
getting the motivation to go, but it is a worthwhile effort once one
bites the bullet and just does it. I finally made the time to go
tonight by leaving a meeting a bit early to catch the priest before
0ur 7pm Mass. Bonus… there was Benediction after Mass. Anyway, thanks for all your efforts.

And thank you for going to confession!

Well, I’m glad these stories make it worthwhile to you, but it’s also the rest of the stuff that makes it worthwhile to the rest of us, your readership.

Why, I was just thinking of how thankful I am I found this blog yesterday as I was typing up a non-cranky sounding cranky letter to the Crown prosecutor regarding one of my clients they keep referring back to me. I didn’t like writing out “please note” or “it should be noted” in my parentheses, and then I remembered the nota bene I picked up from this site and just started using “NB”. Now my supervisor thinks I’m all scholarly because I had to explain its Latin origins to her.

Sometimes it’s the little things. Interestingly enough though, I found this blog while trying to teach myself how to go Confession after I decided to take the 10 year plunge.

Thank you, Father Z, for this blog. I’m so glad I found it back in 2004, right after I got this laptop and began surfing the Net.
    Your ‘online flock’ salutes you!
