And there it is, the requisite bagel. Happy New Year, Fr. Z & all who enter here!

Ah, a ‘Noo-Yawk City’ bagel with a BIG schmeer of cream cheese! Yummy! It’s the best!
Happy New Year, Father Z, and all the other readers of this blog!

I’d be jealous, but a) we have good local bagels, and b) my system no longer tolerates dairy products of any sort. :-(

    But enjoy!

  5. These “Good Food” posts are getting to me. You should be ashamed, Father,
for causing poor folks like me to experience the sin of envy!!

  6. Supertradmum says:

Love those, but as a mum, I am getting concerned about your cholesterol levels…

  7. Margaret says:

Oh man– look at the crust on that thing. That is a real bagel, unlike the round, fluffy lumps of bready stuff sold in California… Thankfully I have a quick visit home coming up in the near future so I can get my fix…

  8. Catholictothecore says:

NYC Bagels are okay but Boston Bagels and Boston Cream Cheese are the best…bar none!
