Don’t forget that today is a First Friday.
You might do a very careful examination of conscience today in preparation for going to confession tomorrow.

“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

. . . and tomorrow is First Saturday, too. I went to Confession last Saturday and Mass this morning as usual.
You know, I think I will take you up on that offer.
First Friday is also our day for Rosary, Mass, Adoration, and Benediction and I took the day off to spend some time with our Lord. Father said in his homily that today will probably be his last 1st Friday Mass since he is being transferred, maybe to Gonzaga’s Mission in Florence, Italy. He is excited about his new opportunity and I am sad. He has been an exception to his order!
Pray for our new priest.
APX: Hooray! I am a big advocate of a thorough examination of one’s conscience. I prefer a daily session (after straying too far for too many years). Being May, My wife and I have added another Rosary each day for the month in honor of the Queen of Heaven. The readers of this blog as well as my personal blog and all those on my blogroll are those for whom we pray the Rosary (Barbara in her walker’s seat and I on my knees). May God bless you all and my Our Blessed Mother intercede for your intentions.
