I’m on pins and needles!

If I am not mistaken, tomorrow, Tuesday, the leadership of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR – a subsidiary of the Magisterium of Nuns) will be meeting with the leadership of the Congregation for Doctrine of the Faith.

What do you want to bet that  – from their deep conviction that the Church simply must know about the drama of their plight – almost immediately after the meeting with Card. Levada the gals will hold a press conference, even if it is outside with a single and handheld camera?

Frankly, I’m on pins and needles.

I don’t think it’ll just be a single camera, because the modern press loves this sort of thing. It’s hard to hold out hope for a successful outcome, but if there is a positive development, even a small one, I’d like to know about it. No pins and needles, however.

Indeed, count on various professional camera crews to be lined up already. Nothing that gets the left revelling as much as the prospect of a negative story about the Church.

I will be in Rome on “the day after,” June 13. I will let you know if Vatican City is still standing after this encounter!

  4. Father K says:

Better that their shenanagins[spelling?] are out in the open for all to see rather than in-house, covert and sneaky, which they have been for years. I mean the LCWR, not the CDF, of course!

Meh, I don’t think acupuncture can cure us of this headache.

I pity them. They are poor things. Misled, confused and following their self-made gods. God have mercy on their poor souls. “The smoke of Satan has entered the Church.” And many of these people have been breathing that smoke for years. Thank God, both Blessed John Paul and Benedict have put fans in the windows to clear the smoke!

I hope there will be positive news, but this type of woman steamrolls over parish priests and local ordinaries all the time. I will not be surprised to learn that they walked out with a number of mitered scalps on their belts, where their rosaries used to hang.

I wonder if they will go to Mass with the Holy FATHER or with one of the Cardinals. And what a great opportunity while in Rome to climb the Holy Stairs on their knees .
