YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons!  Thanks!

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Many requests are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

We should support each other in works of mercy.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below. You have to be registered here to be able to post.

But, registered or not, please take a moment to pray for the people about whom you read here below.

Finally, I still have two serious personal petitions.

Pray, please, for the repose of my husband’s Uncle Ron’s soul. He died this morning. He leaves behind his wife and their two children, their children’s spouses, and their 4 grandchildren, along with 11 siblings, their spouses and children, and many other family members. He joins, please God, in Heaven both of his parents, a sister and a brother, and a grandchild. His death followed a very short, very sudden illness. Please pray in earnest for his dear widow. All she can find to say is, “I’m not ready.” Please, then, also CHERISH your spouses. None of us will *ever* be ready. +JMJ+

In your charity, please pray for the uncle of a friend of mine. He suffered a massive stroke and three smaller ones earlier this week. He was on life support and the doctors didn’t have much hope, but as of yesterday was awake and able to answer questions, even under sedation. Please pray for his continuing recovery, as well for a pressing personal intention of my own.

  16. Please remember Apollo in your prayers today at Mass on this Holy Day of All Saints.
Apollo (age 2) is recovering from his second heart surgery and is leaking fluid from his chest. Please pray that he can keep down the milk based formula.

Pray that his family will come to know Jesus truly present in the Eucharist, and to grow in love and devotion for Our Blessed Mother. Pray that Apollo will be baptized.

  17. dep says:

Pray, please, for Marjorie, who has apparently had a recurrance of ovarian cancer. And that this scourge may be removed from the bodies of all who suffer from it, never to return, for it knows neither justice nor goodness.

  18. Sissy says:

Prayers offered for all above at Vespers tonight, especially for Marjorie.

  19. Angie Mcs says:

So many heartbreaking needs here for prayers, and so much to learn. I find i am fighting a 5 year chronic and worsening nerve pain and ensuing depression which nobody can help. It’s a day to day struggle, many filled with despair, which I must fight to overcome. Some days all I can do is just turn it over to the Lord because chronic pain sufferers often become tiresome to those around them and end up feeling very alone, even from their loved ones over time.

I will keep you all in my heart and mind tonight at mass, especially Marjorie. Ovarian cancer is indeed a scourge which we must find a way to effectively fight. Dep, I will be thinking of her, and I believe we are all supporting and comforting each other, with Gods help.
