Today is Thursday of the 1st Week of Lent.
Today we hear from Pope Leo the Great (+461) his successor Pope Benedict XVI. How can we not focus on him during these last days of his pontificate? A taste…
If you do not close your ear to others, you open God’s ear to yourself.”

Works today and thanks, again. Love the Attende, Domine and the interesting guitar version of Parce Domine…
Parce, Domine, parce populo tuo:
ne in aeternum irascaris nobis.
Spare your people Lord:
Be not angry Lord with your people forever.
A little prayer for you winging its way from cold Kent….
Is the feed not working?
Its working online, but I didnt get my Thursday LENTCAzT via iTunes.
hmmmm…. this AGAIN?
It came up on my iTunes.
Anyone else?
I guess I need an expert to help me figure this out. It’s the same darn problem every year. Last year it was so frustrating that I almost stopped making them.
I just refreshed my iTunes. No Thursday Lentcazt.. . . yet.
I can listen to it on wdtprs.com just fine.
Addendum: it is stopping Play now around the 2 minute mark online.
I just listened to it from your website via my android phone (it’s 6:20pm Eastern time). I’m not on itunes, but it played just fine for me all the way through on my droid.
My only comment is to say – wow! This was soooooo powerful and so necessary to hear!
Thank you, Fr. Z.!
Reloaded page. Listened to entire LENTCAzT online. Thank you, Father.
iTunes still not downloading Thursday’s edition.
These LENTCAzTs are valuable. Please persevere, Father, throughout Lent despite the difficulties.
I like the LentcaZts. It’s not available on my iTunes at the moment but I generally listen from the website anyway.
Just listened online, Fr. Thank you so very much. Sorry for the difficulties. Will ask a few of the Miracle Saints…Constantius, Jude, Anthony, Vincent Ferrer, and Philomena for an assist for you.
It’s stopping at 1:37. Same with yesterday, which I couldn’t listen to at all yesterday. If you hit the play button after it’s stopped, it starts all over — until 1:37.
Just a thought here, but for those of you having problems with Father’s Lentcazts, is it possible that it might be your web browser? I used to have problems constantly when I used google chrome as my browser. Once I uninstalled it from my laptop and installed Bing instead, all of my problems with slow page loads and starts/stops were resolved.
