LENTCAzT 20 Monday 3rd Week of Lent – a turning point in life

Today is Monday of the 3rd Week of Lent.

We hear about the Station (in central Rome), the Collects, and then have part something from Benedict XVI.

From Benedict:

In Lent each one of us is asked by God to mark a turning point in our life, thinking and living in accordance with the gospel, correcting some aspect of our way of praying, acting, or working and of our relations with others. Jesus makes this appeal to us, not with a severity that is an end in itself, but precisely because he is concerned for our good, our happiness, and our salvation.

Subscribe in iTunes (I hope) HERE.  Let me know if this link is better.  I found that I could see a lot more of the podcasts in the list.

If these podcasts are useful to you, perhaps you would consider voting ….

Well, loved the talk as usual, but thought I was listening to Prairie Home Companion after about 2:00 and at 5:07. My son and I use to sing these types of songs on long car rides across America. “Angel’s Wings from “O Brother Where Art Thou” was one of our favourites, as was “Jesus on the Mainline”

    Good stuff, Fr. Z. Prayers

Blue Grass gospel . . . interesting change of music which I enjoyed. “The ground is level at the foot of the cross.” Words to meditate upon.
