Today is the 4th Sunday of Lent.
You have no idea what I went through to make this and post it on time.
We hear about the ancient Roman Station church, Santa Croce (and why we have Rose vestments), the Collects in both forms of the Roman Rite, and then have something from Benedict XVI.
From Benedict:
It should be noted that as a simple and sincere person, he gradually completes the journey of faith. In the beginning he thinks of Jesus as a “man” among others, then he considers him a “prophet,” and finally his eyes are opened and he proclaims him “Lord.”

Thank you–praying for your trials.
Grazie mille, Padre. Buona domenica!
Thank you Father. Praying for you, your intentions and safety.
I am also voting daily for this blog.
Today begins the novena to St. Joseph!! Patron of the Universal Church, patron of my parish – St. Joseph in Bon Air, Virginia.
Happy Sunday – and I so look forward to seeing Father in his pink vestments twice a year!!
Thank you, Father. I love these lessons.
Thank you, Fr. Z. Praying for you and voting, too.
Thank you, Father! I do love being Catholic, all fits seamlessly (if there’s such a word) together, including such externals as rosacea vestments! What a difference from my Lutheran days when we had to say things like ‘I believe in God, not in Luther’ because we were, of course, embarrassed for some of Luther’s writings.
