7 December: St. Ambrose of Milan

Today is the feast of St. Ambrose, who seemed to bring out both the worst and the best in people.

I am happy to have the company of Ambrose in a special way.  I have a first class relic of the great saint and doctor in the chapel:

Ask St. Ambrose today to intercede before God’s throne am implore graces for the recovery of pro-abortion catholic politicians and for strength for the bishops who must deal with them.

How do you think St. Ambrose would have dealt with, say, Nancy Pelosi?

What is that relic you have of St. Ambrose? I am unfamiliar with the classes of relics and what exactly they refer to.

Pardon my lack of charity, but I find it much more satisfying to think of how St. Nicholas would have dealt with such people.
