ADVENTCAzT 02: 1st Monday of Advent – “Heaven, when will we hear you sing?”

This year I will do for Advent what did last year: make a short daily podcast to help your preparation for the upcoming feast as well as for your own, personal, meeting with the Lord.

These are especially offered as a token of gratitude for my benefactors who donate and send items from my wishlist.  Thank you!

And so, here is ADVENTCAzT 02, for the 1st Monday of Advent.

PS: My stat counter for this plug is massively screwed up.  Chime in if you listened.

  1. Rachel K says:

Thankyou Fr Z for the Adventcazt. It is very helpful to have just 5 minutes to focus on the season in the midst of the busyness of family life. I really like the music too.

  2. george says:

Father, I love these podcasts! Thank you so much for providing them for us!

  3. Fern says:

Thank you Fr. Z for the Adventcazt. It is good to have a few moments of quiet guidance while the world is swirling, seemingly unchecked, around us.

  4. Elizabeth D says:

Some day, like Origen, Merton will still not be a Saint but be quoted in the Liturgy of the Hours and the Catechism anyway.

  5. disco says:

Fr Z love the podcasts. The music you have in there are great too. If it’s not too much trouble could you include an amazon link so we can order the cd/download or whatever the kids do nowadays?

  6. ocleirbj says:

Re: stats counter, do you need us to count ourselves in each day? [Not really. I am curious sometimes about how many people listen it.]

  12. Fiat Domine says:

Good Father, I am happy to have these ADVENTCAzTs. My “haven’t committed to Catholicism yet” husband has agreed to some sort of daily Advent meditation at dinnertime when we light the candles on the wreath, (wow). I have been looking for what i think would be good for that and tonight I am going to have us listen to your audio message.
    Fiat!
I am sure that the Divine Will will whisper something Eternal to both of us.
    Thank you Father.

P.S. Your audio song for blue vestments and such, was really great too, causing out-loud laughing and smiles, something you know how to bring about.

  13. PMK says:

Thank you Father. Prayers for your intentions daily,

  14. eiggam says:
