ADVENTCAzT 13: 2nd Friday of Advent – “the trees of the wood will clap their hands”

This year I once again offer a short daily podcast to help you prepare for the upcoming feast as well as for your own, personal, meeting with the Lord.

These are especially offered as a token of gratitude for my benefactors who donate and send items from my wishlist.  Thank you!

And so, here is ADVENTCAzT 13, for the 2nd Friday of Advent.

PS: My stat counter for this plugin has been screwed up.  Chime in if you listened.

PPS: These podcasts are also available through my iTunes feed. Let me know how you are listening.  Through the plug in on this post? Through iTunes? Downloading?

I have been listening all week, but I haven’t commented on all of them. Thank you very much, Father. I look forward to these ADVENTCAzTs every day!

  3. rcg says:

I subscribe on iTunes. I have even saved the old Lentcazts. I will listen again just to get some good points you made.

I’m listening, have been listening, plan on continuing to listen – streaming by plug-in directly from mobile browser on iPhone 5s on Verizon, during daily commute to NYC from LI, excellent quality. I especially liked yesterday’s piece by dear Benedict. It remained with me all day.
    Thank you!

I relish these, Father, although I cannot seem to listen every day! Thank you so much for bothering; I appreciate that a lot more work went into a 5-min. podcast than that! [Yes, they take more than 5 minutes to make.]
Are the singing selections from the Benedictines of Mary CD you mentioned in an earlier post?

  8. q7swallows says:

Oh, I just hit the play button from the main blog page (is that the plug-in?) and it played with no problem on my rather old iPhone.

I listened through the plugin on this site.
It plays beautifully even on a Kindle.

[On Kindle! Good to know. Thanks for that.]

    Listened on the blog. Thanks.

  12. I love these, Father! Thank you so much for this Advent treat. I especially enjoy the wisdom of Papa Emeritus Benedict, so it is a double treat! I listen through the plugin here on the blog, both on my laptop and Kindle. I have an Android phone, so can’t make use of the itunes option. I have been thinking I would like to go back and download them all, though, just to keep and listen to whenever I like. it would make a great playlist.

I listened and then had my kids listen to it while eating breakfast. They are very young but really enjoyed it.

I listened to it via the post plug-in. Thank you very much for these!
