LENTCAzT 18: Saturday 2nd Week of Lent – “Return to your father’s house.”

Please use the sharing buttons?  Thanks!

Today is Friday in the 2nd Week of Lent. Remember your Friday penance.  Examine your consciences and…

GO TO CONFESSION!

With this audio offering, I continue a series of daily podcasts for Lent.  They are intended to give you a small boost every day, a little encouragement in your own use of this holy season.

I persevere in this daily project in thanks to my donors.

My audio plugin is screwed up.  If at first you don’t succeed, try again.  My stats function won’t work either!

Today I use a cut, a Stabat Mater from new CD of music for Lent by the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles.

I also use a slice from the fine music of Kevin Allen and Matthew Curtis.

Native download player in Firefox 28 under Windows 7 worked fine again. Thank you, Father. The opportunity to reflect on the Sheen and Bossuet meditations make me feel a bit less abashed about having slept in this morning.

A Hail Mary goes Heavenward in thanks and intercession for blessing and protection for all priests who will spend a busy few hours in the confessional today, and another in rejoicing for all penitents who today will find their way back to the Church and Her Sacraments.

Someone was kind enough to give me a Kindle Fire a few days ago and I now have no problem listening to the LENTCAzTs on that. Thanks Father for putting in all of the time and effort into making these up for us. [On the Kindle Fire... good to know.]

  4. Makemeaspark says:

Thanks Fr. Z I have been listening on a kindle fire also, better than my computer also. Blessings on you father, all I can offer are my prayers, as I am out of work again. I pray that someday soon I will be able to send you something.

  5. Siculum says:

Pretty cool about how Fr. Z is able to enKindle the Fire of the Faith on there through these LENTCAzTs.
