I don’t watch a lot of TV and I loathe most commercials. This commercial, however, I thought was pretty great.

Also, I must note that my father has been a Mass Mutual financial adviser for decades and I have policies myself. Aside from that, the message of that commercial was pretty spiffy.
I have always liked this one. It shows the joys and the difficulties.
Will share this with the 40 Days for Life list.
That’s lovely!
Beautiful. Children are so very, very precious, all of them. The children with challenges are the ones who completely steal your heart away.
Yup, that’s a good one Father! Have you also seen the Latin American Coca-Cola ad (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIhGUjFed6I&feature=youtube_gdata_player) and South American Bells Scotch Whiskey ads (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VteDp3IK-60&feature=youtube_gdata_player)?
Can’t remember which blog I saw them on. Someone should be keeping track of these positive commercials!
Society has forgotten that challenges are not difficulties that should prompt changes in our shared ethics, but are rather opportunities to love more.

This one has been on for a few years now. I haven’t seen it in awhile, come to think of it. It always grabs my heart and hits me, that’s for sure.
Interesting fact: This is actually the real woman and her son. She is an actress and has heterochromia, although you can’t see that in this ad.
We don’t get to hear much about Father Z’s parents. I keep them in my prayers because they certainly gave us a holy priest in their son, and I wonder if they have also converted to Catholicism.
On that note, I really wish Father would go on EWTN’s The Journey Home with Marcus Grodi…. Excellent program. Then we’d get to hear his full conversion story. Would love to see Father and Mr. Grodi on-set together. Or has that happened already?
Blessedly, to my knowledge the woman in the ad is in fact not a widow, just to clarify, but she certainly gives voice to the many who are, and have children who need unconditional love all the more.
