My View For Awhile: Meandering to Roma – Part 2

The journey continues after a sojourn in New York. This morning I sought something for a friend in Rome because is what we long time expats do for each other. Did you know that there was vanilla mint Chapstick? I didn’t. I still don’t. I didn’t find any.

So, my view for a while.

Next stop, Rome, my second home.

Do me a favor. Ask everyone’s guardian angels to help preserve quiet and order and help me to sleeeep.

They put USB ports in to charge things!

Helpful for these long ones.

UPDATE

I have managed to land softly.

First, much needed, coffee of the day to break the fast. Then to the centro.

There’s quite a variety of Chapstick flavors including citrus jelly bean! All are available via Amazon.

OK, I realize that it has been almost 2 decades since I last flew on a plane, but what happened to the leg room??? It’s not like there was a ton of it to begin with. The people in Father’s photo are practically sitting on top of each other. Was the flight sponsored by Match.com or something? Sheesh! It’s getting so only stick figures can fly these days.

Fr., I stopped and prayed for you the minute I saw that picture of the seats. I could never sit there for 10 hours surrounded by so many people. I don’t even like people that much. Present (virtual) company excluded, of course!

Have a safe and sane trip Father. God Bless you and Keep you.

I showed my 5 yr old your pictures of meandering Rome. He commented: “Father Z is roaming Rome”? He thought that sounded funny. :-)
