The zoo like boarding process is underway.

And so I settle in for a few (hopefully) boring hours to my connecting flight.

I am reading American Sniper on this leg.

It was a great conference experience. I met lots of great new people and renewed others. I also used Zipcar for the first time. The jury is still out on that.

UPDATE

Phase 2: I hope I remember where my car is parked.

I have by now read my guy (in the book, course) into that garden spot Fallujah. Blech.

. . . by the late Chris Kyle.

The “77 square miles surrounded by reality” is experiencing high winds today, 20-30 mph. It could be a bumpy landing.

Poor you, Fr. Z. I hate flying. God bless you.

Fr. Z., if you know who the comedian Brian Regan is, you might enjoy his “Flying” segment from “Walking on the Moon”, which is the funniest dvd I can think of. Not only is he incredibly funny but he manages it without resorting to gratuitous bad language or vulgarity. One can see clips on You Tube as well. These days we should try to laugh more often.
