Pope Francis and a Post-Synodal Exhortation

At the National Catholic Register, Edward Pentin has the story about the “leaked” news via the Secretary of State Card. Parolin.

Apparently Pope Francis will in fact issue a Post-Synodal Exhortation fairly soon. It was said at one point that Francis was not going to issue one.

There are other points, too. So, check out Pentin’s post.

Your link to the Register article doesn’t work.

Pity. I will have to link to it in some other way.

    God bless,

The cake was baked in Buenos Aires before it was delivered to Rome in March 2013. Does anyone doubt that? The icing might be somewhat adjusted due to current atmospheric conditions, but the cake be the same.

PentiN doesn’t seem much to go on. He quotes a Vatican Radio interview as saying

The Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, has said he thinks Pope Francis will write an apostolic exhortation on the Synod on the Family, and that it will be published “relatively quickly”.

In an Oct. 29 interview with Vatican Radio’s Italian edition, he said “I think that this time it will happen”, but added that “so far there has been absolutely no talk about this. It’s up to the Pope to decide what to do”.
