LENTCAzT 08 – Wednesday of the 1st Week of Lent: Ember Days

It is Wednesday in the 1st Week of Lent.

We have emerged from Lent’s “narthex” into the greater season.

These 5 minute podcasts are intended to give you a daily boost in your discipline during this holy season, Lent.

I am providing these again this year especially in gratitude to benefactors who help me and this blog.

My friend Gregory DiPippo has posted photos from Roman Station churches over at NLM.

About Fr. John Zuhlsdorf

Thank you for the bit about discouragement being a form of pride, I needed that!

  2. acardnal says:

Fr. Z, have you visited all of the Roman Station churches you are mentioning in these reflections?

  3. acardnal: Yes, I’ve been to all the Roman Station churches, sometimes even as celebrant for the Mass for the Collegium Cultorum Martyrum to which I belonged for a long time. The Collegium has in recent years been retooled into a Pontifical Academy.
