LENTCAzT 43 – Spy Wednesday of Holy Week: Night

It is “Spy” Wednesday of Holy Week.  This is the last full day of Lent.

These 5 minute podcasts were intended to give you a daily boost in your discipline al during the holy season.

I provided these podcasts again this year in gratitude to benefactors who help me and this blog through their donations, both monthly and ad hoc.

We often heard from Lent at Ephesus by the wonderful Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles in Missouri.  If you search around, there are very few CDs with Lent-appropriate music. UK dwellers can get it HERE.   Lent is almost over, but – get it now and you’ll have it when Lent begins in 2017!  Also, follow their link to other interesting choices.

Thank you for these Lenten podcazts, Fr. Z. They have helped me and surely others to make our way along with Christ to Jerusalem and to this Holy Week.

Thanks Fr. Z. The Benedict XVI excerpt on the “context of night” and the fulcrum of our faith was exceptional. This brings to mind the Mit Brennender Sorge post. I’ve read your post but not yet listened to the audio.

Off on a bit of a tangent here, but there is an interesting Cold War espionage novel titled Spy Wednesday by William Hood. Mr. Hood’s three novels, in my opinion, are far superior to LeCarre, Alan Furst et al. Spy Wednesday’s Alan Trosper is a married man with morals and a steady manner.

    Thanks, Father!
