YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered here or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have three pressing personal petitions.

As I write today, I also ask a prayer for pain relief.

The moderation queue is ON… for ALL posts.

Please keep in your prayers the Archbishop Emeritus of my archdiocese, Adelaide. I heard that Archbishop Faulkner is in his last moments. Please also pray for our current Archbishop, Archbishop Wilson, for his health as he also does not seem to be in good shape.

    Thank you all!

  2. Fr. Z, you don’t have to post this. I just want you to know that this icy hot smart relief tens machine works very well on back pain. I don’t suggest anything unless I know it works because I have used it. It does an amazing job. You can actually just leave it on you and when it goes off, wait a while and turn it back on. I have had so many injuries and thought nothing would ever help, but this has worked. Walmart has them cheaper than this but I just wanted you to see what it is.

You can read here “how to use” because there are places like on your chest by your heart or on your throat, you don’t want to put it.

Praying you get relief. Also I use essential oils for pain, which would be frankincense and peppermint mixed with a carrier oil like almond, olive, or coconut oil. It really does work.

I would ask for prayers for the aunt of a relative of mine. She is a nun in the order of The Sisters of Divine Providence and her name is Sister Ann Regina. She is now in her eighties and is not doing very well at this time.
    Thank you.

My stepmother was recently diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer. Please remember her and my father in your prayers.

  5. discipulus says:

I ask for prayers for the bishop of my diocese, recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

  6. jameeka says:

I am asking for prayers for the conversion and holy death of an enemy of mine. That he and his family come to see the beauty, power, and merciful justice of Jesus Christ before he dies.

Thank you, and I am praying for all your petitions.

  7. Please pray for my father, currently in a medically induced coma after respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. Still too early to tell if there is brain damage from oxygen deprivation. Please pray especially for the salvation of his soul.

  8. JuliB says:

    I have several:
    1. A friend was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma last week.
    2. A colleague was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophagul cancer, and it’s spread to the liver and kidney.
    3. A friend’s son passed a week ago at the age of 24 due to a heroin overdose.
    4. A colleague’s grandson’s grandfather died. The grandson was the spitting image of his father (who died young and unexpectedly), and the grandparents took great pleasure in being with him. Grandfather and grandson were very close. Now, this 12 year old is without 2 of the most important men in his life.
    5. My sister, who suffers from physical and mental issues, and is unemployed.
    6. My mother, who’s COPD continues to worsen.

I in turn will pray for all of you.

  9. New Sister says:

Please pray for my dad’s reconciliation with Christ and His Church and for peace in our family.

  10. VexillaRegis says:

    Prayers for you, Father!

My husband and all his colleagues are having a terribly hard time at work. Please pray that his boss and the “board”, who are malicious and incompetent, are immediately replaced and that the work place will be normal again. The union has had to read the law to the leaders on several occasions and they have been under investigation from the highest state authorities regarding unlawful treatment of their staff. The latest case fell when the victim decided to move, but they just keep going on by targeting another person or persons.

Please pray for three personal intentions of ours and for my parish which is in dire straits due to a angry and rude pastor. God help us.

  11. Discerning Altar Boy says:

My Uncle Marco recently suffered a massive heart attack, he has about a 50/50 chance of pulling through. I have explained the Apostolic Pardon and Anointing of the Sick to my Aunt. They are fallen away Catholics, so I pray that they might heal him spiritually as they try to heal him physically.

  12. MaximilianAugustine says:

Dear Father Z. and all readers,

a theatre in my country is scheduled to stage a play by the Croatian director Oliver Frlji? titled “Our Violence and Your Violence”. The final scenes of this perverted piece of leftist garbage depict Our Lord Jesus Christ descending from the Cross and raping a Muslim woman. Please pray for the city where the play is to be staged, for everyone involved in this diabolical blasphemy and for the brave Catholic priest who has taken it upon himself to form an organised resistance effort.

    In prayer,
    M. A.
