YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered here or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have three pressing personal petitions.

Still can’t get a job, and very rarely am I even making it past “phone screens,” not even getting to actual interviews. It’s been 2 years since I lost my last job and that gap’s starting to become more and more of a problem. I’ve been busy, in helping with elderly and disable family members among other things, going to professional development conferences for my field, and so on, but that doesn’t matter one whit to hiring managers.

For CD who hasn’t practiced her faith in years and has terminal cancer.
For SM who seems to be more and more relativist and modernist and doesn’t seem to really believe her faith, and who said we should skip Sunday Mass when I was at her house and just ‘chill’.
For CW who is getting very old and frail and who’s children no longer practice their faith.
For all of our priests in these crazy times
For MPG who is losing a baby
For HM that he does well at school this year
For peace in our homes, our hearts, our countries

I’m bringing all prayer petitions here to the procession of our Blessed Lady in Limerick. They will be included in the recitation of the Holy Rosary this evening. God bless the ICRSP.

  5. John Grammaticus says:

For my lapsed uncle who is dying

    For a personal intention

May I please ask you to continue praying for my family. Your prayers have made a huge difference for us – things are looking considerably better for us, but the matter isn’t yet finally set. Sadly my husband discovered today, that his boss is trying to trick him in a new way. Please ask St Joseph and St Joan of Arc to intercede!

Please pray for all farmers in Northen Europe. We have had a terrible draught this summer – no rain for three months and the lack of grass and ensilage has sent dairy and meat farmers into despair. If we didn’t import food from abroad, there would be a famine by now. Huge forest fires are still raging in Sweden.

Renewed prayers for my poor parish, the one with the angry and downright scary pastor, would be highly appreciated too.

Please pray for us: that I shall find success at work (and be able to keep my job) and that my husband will receive an offer of employment (he’s been working freelance for 2 years).

Please also pray for our eldest son who is waiting to hear on his US A. ROTC Contract.

  8. mepoindexter says:

Having some family troubles that need prayers.

  9. KAS says:

Please pray that I receive help in getting my children to know and love God, help making it to Mass, help with special intentions, and help in achieving goals to meet my family’s needs.

Also for the souls of CBS and KWK who both died in March, I am still reeling. For my husband, and for a niece who lost her sole father figure when her grandfather died.

Also for LRS whose old age has led to her handing everything she promised her husband to give to his children, to the one daughter. Everything is already in her name and she has been given all power of attorney. I am heartbroken for my husband who generously helped his mother and sister only to be betrayed in this way. It is so sad.

For those seeking jobs, and those struggling through illnesses.

It has been a rough year for pretty much everyone I know.
