This ominous passage in the podcast (through the plug-in) had me immediately praying to St. Michael. No doubt that good archangel made sure you survived to offer this podcast and all the other offerings on this blog that encourage the troops. Do you know who the operator of the motorcycle was?
Thanks, Father!
“Let us recall our nothingness”. That’s the crux of the problem, isn’t it? Too many today won’t believe that they are creatures who owe obedience to their Creator. Instead, they set themselves as equal to, or above Him. It all boils down to the sin of Pride, from Adam and Eve, right to the present day.
Fr. Z, we are grateful that you survived and are mending. The tough bird yhat you are, we are humbled by you dedication to our enlightenment. Since you know the strength and humility of a warrior I suggest you mught lighten your own mood and lift some concern from the hearts of your admirers by considering this: the next time you take a large dose of pain medication break out the recorder and a copy of the Hobbit and read it aloud. Your sharp wit would penetrate the chemical fog like a beacon, but maybe enhanced by that fog.
God bless you and we are grateful He keeps you.
Thank you Father (listening here from your website). LarryW2LJ said it best……

Amen.
From dust you were made and to dust you shall return. Contemplating my mortality.
Thank you, Father.
