CHRISTMASCAzT 2018 24: Christ born homeless at home

Once again this year I offer short daily podcasts to help you prepare for the upcoming feast as well as for your own, personal, meeting with the Lord.

Here is CHRISTMASCAzT 24, for Christmas Day.

These 5 minute offerings are a token of gratitude especially for my benefactors.  Thank you!

Today Fulton Sheen explains how Christ had no room at the in.  The text is from his Life of Christ.  US HERE – UK HERE

Have some Mystic Monk Coffee and have a listen!

Chime in if you listened.

PS: These podcasts should also be available through my iTunes feed, though maybe not immediately. Let me know how you are listening.  Through the plug in on this post? Through iTunes? Downloading?

Merry Christmas, Father Z.!!! God bless you. Thank you for all of these AdventCazts and ChristmasCazts, your blog, and your ministry!

Thank you for using “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” in the ChristmasCazt. It reminds me of a homily by Bishop Morlino some years ago, in which he asked us to consider how theologically profound the lyrics are. He drew our attention especially to the lyric, “pleased as Man with men to dwell: Jesus our Emmanuel.”

That’s staggering, really. As weak, as foolish, as false, as base, as vile as we often are, nonethless Christ was pleased (yes, pleased!) to take on our nature, becoming like us in all things but sin. It truly is one of the most sublime and comforting mysteries of our holy Faith.

Bishop Morlino may no longer be with us in the flesh, but his words remain. I’ll always cherish them.

A blessed Christmas to Fr. Z and all.
