PASCHALCAzT 51 – Easter Thursday: Hell grasped a corpse, and met God.

It’s Easter Thursday. Christ is risen! Alleluia!  The Octave is well underway.

St. John Chrysostom pours out his heart for us today.

I provide these especially in gratitude to benefactors who help me and this blog.

From the Très belles Heures de Notre-Dame.

These podcazts have all been treasures but this one today is outstanding, Fr Z. ( St. John Chrysostom’s sermon was passionate and uplifting!) I love the historical tid-bits at the beginning, of each which very often lead me to research more about the Saint(s) and Church mentioned. The words of this or that saint or prelate and the choice of music is like a fine wine that accompanies the main meal. The format of your podcazts is most enjoyable. I don’t know how long it takes for you to make these podcazts but they are very edifying for me.

I thought of Cardinal Pell in your prayer for priests. Thank you.

I thought of Cardinal Pell with that prayer at the end =-(
