YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered here or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have pressing personal petitions.

  1. Healing after my accident.  Still a couple issues.
  2. THANKSGIVING for a good bishop for Madison!
  3. Personal.

  1. JustaSinner says:

For the repose of my Father’s soul, whom we laid to rest yesterday morning. And the most forgotten soul in Purgatory.

  2. Chris Garton-Zavesky says:

Thanksgiving for our new bishop, Oscar Cantu.

Prayers for my son and his fiancée, due to wed six weeks from now.

  3. JillMary says:

    Personal intention
    Thanksgiving for my mom.

A rosary will be offered for all intentions listed here.

  4. Anneliese says:

For Dominicans from the Central Province who are being ordained next weekend in St Louis. For my friend who’s being ordained in the Southern Province next month in New Orleans. For the conversion of at least six wayward souls.

For my own faith, which is wavering. And for the next step in my career.

  5. cwood says:

    Personal Intentions:
For my grandmother, Elizabeth. It has been our first Mother’s Day since her passing which I know has been particularly difficult for my own mother.

For my career. I am a teacher at a Catholic high school. Budgets and enrollment numbers are hitting us hard, and as a first year teacher my job is in jeopardy as we have a last in first out contract. My vocation from God is to lead his sheep in our Catholic schools, and I hope to be invited back not for a paycheck, but to continue to live my vocation. Please pray that God blesses our school with many new students.

    Non-personal intentions:
For the soon to be ordained seminarians and deacons at the ordination in our Diocese (Bridgeport) next month. May God grant them the grace to be Good Shepherds and continue to bless our Diocese with more vocations

  6. UncleBlobb says:

For an increase of hope, for vocations of all kinds, and for life.

  7. aviva meriam says:

For God’s assistance as my husband negotiates for his new position
    For three urgent personal intentions

  8. Fr. Andrew says:

For a troubled soul who wandered into our parish tonight. That they would encounter the truth, goodness, and healing of Jesus Christ.

For our diocese as we await a new bishop to be named. May he be a holy and righteous man of God.

  9. Felipe says:

I pray for the diocese of Oakland and for the deacons who will be ordained this month. I pray that God send us holy and righteous vocations to the priesthood. I also pray for the TLM to exist in my home parish.

  10. Rob83 says:

The seminarians in the Diocese of Buffalo could use some prayers, as could all the priests implicated in the latest shoe to drop here. Some decided to say something when they heard inappropriate conversation by some priests at a function, which at the moment has resulted in 3 suspensions and 2 reprimands. An alleged transcript was also leaked following this, which has led to aspersions cast on another priest, put an unflattering spotlight on the seminary, and reportedly has triggered a leak investigation by the powers that be.

  11. Akita says:

For the conversion of my husband to Christ and the Faith.

For my children, twenty-somethings, that they find suitable spouses (non-Mormon) which prevail in our community if God wills marriage for them.

  12. JonPatrick says:

Prayers for my younger son and his fiancee who are to be married in less than 2 weeks.

For my oldest son who is having a hard time finding a job due to his disability.

Also for us as we try to sell our house in preparation for my pending retirement.

  13. Linguamater says:

Please ray for Hunter Page, age 20, who recently suffered a brain aneurysm while at college.

  14. bibi1003 says:

    Prayers for all your intentions.

Please pray for the conversion of Rep. Brian Sims. While I was listening to the news about what he had done I had to fight against the sin of hatred, which I had just recently confessed. Suddenly I “heard” this in my head—
“Pray for his conversion as if it had already happened.”

  15. JesusFreak84 says:

Thanksgiving for a job in a city where I’ll actually have friends, and a panicked prayer that this attempt to live as an independent autistic adult (something that, at most, 25% of us achieve,) doesn’t end in flames like the last time I tried moving out of my parents’ house.

Conversions and reversions for my family.

That the ICKSP or FSSP open a parish in the Diocese to which I am moving, because right now the only way to get ALL Sacraments there in their traditional form is the SSPX =-\ (CMRI, too, but that obviously doesn’t count.)

  16. UncleBlobb says:

I forgot: good bishop for Wheeling-Charleston Diocese.

  17. VexillaRegis says:

Please pray for poor Mrs EB who made a huge mistake.

Thank you for praying for the problems at my husband’s job. He recently landed a new, very good and well paying position and we are moving away! We now need to find a new affordable home to buy – near husband’s new job and a suitable school for our son. Would you please pray for St Joseph’s assistance in this?

Please also pray for three personal petitions of mine.

    Thank you! Hugs!

  18. Suburbanbanshee says:

For the soul of my grandmother, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 102.
