YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Many requests are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have three pressings personal petitions.

As I write today, one of them is… very heavy indeed, a strong sense of loss and near betrayal.

The moderation queue is ON… for ALL posts.

I still have a serious medical problem that I am asking prayers for (for perseverance and trust) and also prayers for my family to not be afraid and to trust in God’s Divine Will. I will pray for all intentions listed and for yours, Father Z. Thank you.

Prayers will be said for the aforementioned intentions, especially for the intention of Father Z.

Please pray that my 2 teenaged sons will continue to do well in high school, and will choose career paths pleasing to God. May they grow in Faith, and remain focused on practicing that Faith throughout their lives. The boys accepted an invitation to serve our evening Mass on Ash Wednesday. They also agreed to help out with serving/cross bearer over the Easter Tridium. One of the boys will spend a weekend in March at Kenrick Seminary (St. Louis) with his friend, who is strongly discerning a call to the priesthood. These two are also planning a retreat to a Monastery in Ava, MO once they reach age 18.

I told my son that even if is not called to be a priest, he (and all of us) are certainly called to support his friend’s potential vocation.

My husband seems to be having recurring problems with his superior, who is rather incompetent and messes things up several times a week. Wrong pay, vanishing phone connection at work and a general tendency to disorganize everything. Please pray for a good outcome for my husband.

Prayers would also be deeply appreciated for my battered parish and three personal intentions of mine.

I will pray for all intentions here!

    Thank you!

Prayers please for AT who may have thyroid cancer, but isn’t getting good answers.
Also for my god-daughter who has fallen very far from the faith as a young adult and has never been Confirmed.
Also for my guardian angel whom I have dispatched to have a chat with hers.
And naturally for Fr. Z who so generously hosts this sort of thread for our benefit.

  5. Tort says:

Prayers please for my father who is awaiting the results of a biopsy and culture, and for my family to accept truly “fiat voluntas tua”.

  6. Peter Stuart says:

Praying for Father and all here. Please pray that I can be freed of all the resentments and unmet expectations that I allow to hold me back from growing spiritually.

  7. Antiquorum says:

For my family. My wife suffers with mental illness, and it nearly destroyed our lives. I feel as though I’ve been pulverized spiritually, physically and financially. It’s hard for me to even get basic things done. Getting my youngest daughter baptized has turned into such a struggle due to my work schedule and having to handle everything myself.

    Praying for everyone’s requests.

  8. aviva meriam says:

Please pray for me and my family: we still have four pressing intentions.

Please say a prayer that I may be able to root out the vices in my life that I have battled this last year.

We are praying for a Parish for the Latin Mass community in our area. We have everything lined up (altar servers, schola, priest for weekly mass) all we are waiting on is for the diocese to assign us a parish. Please pray to Our Lady for this lofy end.

  11. oblate says:

Dear Friend. Never loose Hope, Never become mad at God. For 20 years my wife was so mentally sick, bi polar or schizophrenia, she was mainly institutionalized, and ward of the state. I tell people to believe in miracles And ask for them, patiently. last year an injection of Abilify brought her out psychosis. North Carolina RESTORED Her driVING License. She Works For groCERY Chain And Is Ebbing Of SSI. it may last or one day fail.

I believe this miracle. … is due to rosaries. Lots of them. ask for miracles, the Rosary promises.

my biggest fault, when I fell apart, was neglecting my role, as a single parent. Always keep your children first, no matter how lonely you feel.

And most importantly, get assistance. mental illness of a spouse can also make you ill. every soldier can fall. take heed.

with an I’ll spouse, you are effectively a single parent. financial crisis will follow you. men with sole custody in society is rare and the system is designed for single mothers. Hope, fortitude, especially Prudence are the only thing effective for you to be a good parent.

No drink, pills, or female distraction will remedy your situation. I never expected to see my civil divorced wife, recover to this degree. it only took 17 years for Our LadyS INTERCESSION To intervene It Was Worth The wait.

my heart is with you Brother. my prayers tonight, with tears, are for you. you are not alone. Athens single set of footprints in the sand, are Jesus’. he will carry you if you Trust in Him.

May the Lord bless your family. in Jesus Love.

We are currently on day 6 in our Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes for Healing at the Cathedral parish of Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral in Spokane Washington. Today, we focused on the Eucharist.
It has been a amazing and powerful outpouring of prayer and Grace received.
I ask your prayers for my family, near and far, that we will allow God’s Grace to fill our hearts and souls to heal and guide us.
I ask this in our Lord Jesus’s Name.
    Amen
Peace and may God continue to bless Fr. Z and all of you who seek truth, beauty and goodness.

  15. Gentillylace says:

Please pray for the recovery of my mother, who is 78 years old. She has had four falls in the past six weeks. No bones were broken, but the arthritis in her back has worsened and she has a urinary tract infection that is wreaking havoc on her nervous system. She is completely bedridden and cannot sit up: I have to take care of all her hygiene needs. My mother tries to joke about it, saying that I am taking care of a 200-pound baby, but we are both apprehensive that this might last for the rest of her life. Also, my mother is a non-churchgoing Methodist who is sympathetic to Catholicism (my late father’s side of the family was Catholic, which is why I was baptized in the Catholic Church as an infant): please pray that God enlighten her as well. Thank you very much.

  16. Antiquorum says:

    @Oblate

  17. Liz says:

Prayers for you Fr. Z, the posters, and all reading these.

I would like to ask for prayers for several personal intentions especially one in particular.

Thank you all. God bless you.

Prayers for Father Z and all others posting here.

Please pray for my husband, Pat. That God will grant him a complete and permanent cure to his life-threatening heart problems. Also that God will provide him with a new job at his company.

He is relatively young and became seriously ill suddenly last year. He has been unable to work due to DOT restrictions. His job was our main source of income.

He had a second procedure in January that was probably his last chance (outside of a miracle) for a cure. Preliminary test results were encouraging, but we won’t find out for sure until late March.

I have posted here several times before, thank you all for your prayers!! I am certain that they have helped him a great deal.

  19. Galloglasses says:

Please pray for me, I feel as if I have lost all sense of God and my own identity, I don’t know what I am doing or what I should do, I am suffering from severe depression that finally broke me down after all these years and obsessive thoughts that distress me, I feel dimmer and less capable and I am often tempted to doubt God’s mercy and constantly have presumptive thoughts.

I’m going to pray for everyone’s intentions on this post and dedicate my rosary tonight to them, thank you all, amen.

  20. Semper Gumby says:

Prayers for all intentions here and for Emma.
