    Friends?

    [Well… business associates, then.]

Most angels, I hope, are better looking than Clarence. As to who is friends of the angels…too bad Potter did not destroy bells when Moroni came to western New York.

I can’t find it on youtube, but I always like Saturday Night Live’s lost footage from It’s a Wonderful Life where they storm Potter’s house and kick the stuffing out him. :)

Anybody who thinks this could work should read Lafcadio Hearn’s brilliant retelling of a Japanese ghost story: “Of a Mirror and a Bell”.
Actually, anybody who likes ghost stories, traditional Japanese folklore, and so forth retold in a faintly outre’ Victorian style should read Lafcadio Hearn. He’s an original.

But, how would potter know if the good angels don’t have wings.

    God bless

You’re looking for the “Lost Ending”?

    Right this way … http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/its-a-wonderful-life-lost-ending/278730/

Hmmm. I guess I need to watch “A Wonderful Life” again?
I didn’t catch the reference to Henry Potter.
Well, Christmas Day cometh. Perhaps I should take that with me to my folks, let my two god-daughters watch too. Something hopeful and moderately faithful, but not too preachy, might do them quite good….

I’m reminded of the old Jack Webb/Johnny Carson bell clapper theft skit. Now, with Clarence!

@Supertradmum: have we not entertained angels unawares?
